French Garden Table

French Garden Coffee Table

Production of this beautiful live edge table kicked off a series of amazing pieces. Why the Butcher name? For me, it started on a Sunday drive in the Sierra Nevada Mountains to visit one of our most favorite towns on Hwy 49, Sierra City, California. Luckily enough for us, a huge 1800’s era barn, locked up for as long as I can remember, was open and the owner was liquidating a treasure of 100+ year old items. Inside, they had a massive butcher block made from a 40” oak round. The table was rounded and hammered from decades of use during the mining boom. That’s it!

This table shape reflects the materials I love to work with and the simple shapes that speak volumes when displayed in the home.  This round table will highlight the beauty of the wood in any room. And while the title says 'End Table' you'll see the size of the piece will easily allow for a rustic modern coffee table in any cozy home or office setting.

The Cedar Butcher End Table is not hardwood, so it’s lighter and takes a rich finish. The ends are elegantly inset into the wood table itself to highlight the steel and wood combination.
